So after months of looking I finally bit the bullet and bought all new Kryptek gear in Higlander camo. This is the first nice set of camo I have bought. Does anyone have any experience with it? I love the look and design plus the technology is so lightweight yet warm. What really sold me was that all the jackets are very packable and since love to get miles in on my hunts this is a big plus for me. I ended up getting pants, long sleeve shirt, light hoodie with built in mask, hat, jacket, and vest. It was definately an expensive investment but I think in the end it will be well worth it. The real question is will it make me shoot straight? By the way not me in pictures below just a few I grabbed off the web.

Love the kryptek camo. I have a grundens weather watch jacket made in kryptek highlander and I love the pattern.

Ya I saw that one on Amazon good deal.

I have no first hand experience with it but I love the pattern. Do they make a gun wrap so the rifles in the pictures can fade away as good as the clothes?

Keep us updated as the year and seasons/temps change.

Yes they have a gun wrap and a vinyl rifle wrap kit. I would like to do the kit but I can barely put a bumper sticker on with out bubbles, so fitting one on my rifle sounds a little hard to me.
I have never used the standard rifle wraps the stuff that is like a bandage wrap. Does it hold up well? I always imagined it getting wet or cashing on bushes etc?

I have pants and 1/4 zip by kryptek, as everyone else I love the pattern but wasn't very happy with the fit of the 1/4 zip so I've been hesitant to buy any other pieces. Wish first lite or other brands would adopt the pattern.
Have a 6.5 Grendel with magpul parts that I had dipped in highlander by liquid gun works.

Looks really good! Figure it can't hurt the shooting straight :)

Whats up man! I run all kryptek gear... I have the valhala set, The posiedon rain gear set, and the base layer set. This is the first premium camo I bought (use to wear red head). I love it no questions asked, I feel that for hunting in the south west it is a great pattern, my buddy will loose me completely at about thirty yards in fact i had two boarder patrol agents walk by me after i had set off their sensor they were about twenty yards away until I whistled to them and stood up.

As for field testing.... Insanely light and packable, It is amazing quiet, it washes and doesn't hold sent like normal cotton or lower brand gear.
Wore the rain gear on a duck hunt in november and got dumped on.... not one drop of water got through the rain setup.
Did more then twenty days in D16 this last season and put on close to ten miles a day.

The negatives...... Its damn costly, the valhalla pants hand some tiny scuffed holes on my butt by the end of the season due to sitting on rocks and such.

I will be buying kuiu gear for cold weather and keep the kryptek for hunting in the desert conditions where i need to wear a lot of layers in the cold mornings and nights and step them as the heat of the day comes up

great gear, love it, hate the price, will keep using it, not for mountain hunting in my applications
