Mother Nature Throws A Curve

The worst case scenario for poults is cold spring rain....Well, 38 and raining is that case....Now we have to hope that enough hens got their poults 10 days old before this event or they're still on eggs....I witnessed hens yesterday being chased by gobblers (as did Fabian)....Hens that have lost their eggs will renest too (could be the birds being chased)....One thing is for sure....This abundance of moisture is way better than the drought we've been thru,...Good for all our wildlife in SoCal....Few pix from yesterday.

The weather forecast is predicting rain for most of this coming week. Including next Sunday....
ps: I need to remember to leave the house with my camera, my phone camera is not good enough.

I will take rain over drought any year. Rather lose a few now than lose the majority over the next 6 months. Excited to see deer numbers increase.
