Hey guys, new hunter here. Have been in and out of archery for a little bit and now and looking to expand my horizons to the wild. The first thing im having a trouble understanding are the zones(im guessing) people are referring to. They are referred to as D-15, D-16, etc. Im located in San Diego and dont plan on venturing too far out just yet, but understanding these zones would surely help out alot. Thanks!

fw619,

Welcome to SCH.......San Diego Co. offers a number of hunts......D-16 (rifle & bow), A0 (archery only), A-22 (archery only, buck or doe)......Read the regs like suggestion. Lots of info on line as well.

We're here to help......Ask lots of questions...... ;D

Much appreciated! 99% of my hunting will be with a bow, hopefully can tag along with someone on a hunt to observe and take notes. Im gonna be doing plenty of online research as well.
