Electronic collar

I've used both. I currently have the dogtra. Mine is small and easy to use My old st was just as good. I'm looking into a gps as my new hunting spots are very over grown and I'm starting to loose track of the dog more and more.

We use e-collars day in and day out in our kennel and snake aversion clinics and have used just about every brand out there, Personally we prefer the Tritronics brand prior to Garmin buying them out (rugged and long lived). Dogtra would be my next choice and will probably be what we go to when are Tritronics stuff wears our as Garmin no longer supports the original Tritronics products. Once again just like with optics price dictates quality. The cheap stuff is just that cheap.

Garmin Alpha's are awesome. Not sure what you will be using it for but the Alpha gives you the best of both worlds.
