Does anyone have any experience shooting at any of their matches? They have a Tactical match this weekend that I was considering going to. t would be better suited to my little .223 than the shoot in Taft and save some driving time.

Taft will be more fun. Some great folks, lots of opportunity to shoot other rigs and a pretty nice range.

I have been a member of the California Precision Rifle Club forum for a while. Garrett should sanction a match to help them grow.

Sold. To Taft I go. I really want to get into the precision rifle series type matches. Any local suggestions?

they shoot at pala and have both a semi long range match where you engage multiple steel targets at multiple ranges. They also have a tactical match where you walk all over and shoot from random places at random ranges. i think the longest shot they have currently is 700 yards.

i shot it last year and had a fun time. its geared for the PRS style guns, my bench queen got its ass kicked but i still had fun

Thanks Aeon. That range looks awesome. Too bad it is so far from Ventura. Are matches open to non-members?
