Well the spot where I was turkey hunting is on fire here southern Utah .it call west valley fire it is burning right where I miss my turkey I hope it doesn't ruin this spot .

Sorry to hear this, Richard....The place was really dry....I could see that area burning for a while.

Happiness is a warm gut pile
Sad in the short run but better when the land recovers. Don't fret just look for another place to hunt and in a few years it will be better than you have ever known. Fire is a good thing when it happens it just takes time and the wildlife will do better than before.
Looked at the fire map....The fire is headed north away from where we were hunting....Very rugged....So it could burn for a long time....It's already burned over 2000 acres and tomorrows weather is suppose to be worse.
Well 7,000 plus acres burn and is still burning it did get to one turkey spot I had found this is not good news for the young turkey the fire was cause by a camp fire
