Hello, my name is Aaron and I'm glad to have found what seems to be a good forum. I am original from Austin, Texas but live in California now due to the Army. This state and the location I'm in is much different than what I grew up with. I'm hoping to connect with some fellow hunters/fishermen and learn what opportunities there are while I'm stationed here. Right now my main interest is bear hunting. Primarily bow hunting : )

Welcome Aaron and thanks for your service. No bear down here, but they are plentiful up north in the foothills and Sierras. Archery season for bear is early, so the guides are probably booked up but if you can afford a guided hunt it's a great way to learn the ropes out here.
