Can't wait till Saturday... hunting the opener at San J with Brandon. Never hunted San J so I'm pretty excited to say the least! Was hunting quail a few miles away on duck opener last year and the shots sounded like a war was going on (about 35 minutes before sunrise if I remember correctly 
!).
Got all my gear ready to go and all lead removed from field bags/packs.
Just need to rig up some of the decoys I got off-season last year. Guessing I won't need them till later in the season.
