Dove poppers are a Labor Day tradition! Everyone does 'em but who cares, they're good. I marinaded my doves in soy sauce, honey, lime juice, and garlic, and grilled the poppers over hardwood charcoal. Went down with some Mexican corn and a Pizza Port OB Jetty IPA. As @NBK would say, this did not suck!
