Had a good saturday morning at sj. Went with my buddy and an old friend on his 42 resi. We shot Pintail canvasback widgeon spoons and teal. 19 ducks. Stayed all day till shoot light. Then we headed to the sea. Shot 7 sunday. Got three myself. Pintail and two spoons. Left by 930. Long weekend but...

Last saturday in the good ol W. Didnt see any pintail but got into some widgeon which was nice to finally see them here. Back at it in the am. Gonna miss this boys

Shot a two man limit. We were 43 on the sweatline. Birds didnt start working till 9 but we stuck it out all day and got our birds. Going to try again today see how it goes.

Hunted saturday and sunday. Shot a limit saturday and 4 birds sunday before 9. Teal are in big numbers. Also saw a big push of gadwals

Had a good last couple days with the pups before season closes. Picked up my buddys pup from the trainer and took her out today Pic from yesterday hunt and today. Oct 17 seems far now but chukar and quail will be worth the wait. Going to be a good year boys

Had a great day with the boys and the pup did great. Ended up retrieving 8 birds of my limit before i put him away as It was getting too hot. Proud of him. Hope everyones opener was good
