A buddy of mine told me about an app he has for his phone that has up to date maps and utilizes GPS without having service. I do not remember the name of the app, but I'm assuming with the advances in today's technology it's probably true. I am just wondering if anyone else uses anything...

I'm way south on the coast imperial beach.... I don't mind driving to east county or up to an hour away. I just don't want to make the 2 hour trip to IV during the week.

I was wondering if there are any decent places to hunt near San Diego? I dont mind driving out to IV on the weekends, but would like to find somewhere closer to home to shoot some feathery friends. All the maps i have seen on FWC site are for IV. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

So the whole buying tags for hunting season is new to me. I grew up hunting on the east coast on private land, and it has become abundantly clear that that is not the way things go down around here. lol With that being said i waiting to long to purchase tags. I was thinking about hunting D-19...
