I'm in also. Waiting for the draw this week, hopefully. Took the kids to AZ 3 years ago and took their hunters Ed course for an extra point. That year my oldest kid drew a cow elk tag. Will be interesting to see the results of the changes to the draw thus year.... Fingers crossed for this...

Yup! First year applying to NM. Been doing OTC archery in Colorado last couple years. Thought I would at least throw in for NM this year. NR odds stink, but you can't win if you don't enter. Good luck

Spend some time on the Colorado DOW and Atlas. They have all kinds of info to help you pick a unit. Check out the draw stats for 2015 to see GMU's you can actually draw. A good portion of prime elk country is avail for archery OTC.

Great unit. For a NR you'll need 20+ points to draw it. Good luck.
