    Vortex diamondback 12x50 binos

I was looking at those but saw an ad online for the dbs with a badlands harness for 230. I'm a budget kinda guy. Plus I'm going scouting next weekend and won't have that much saved for the razors. Believe me,I would love the razors or the viper.

    Vortex diamondback 12x50 binos

Awesome, thank you so much for your .02. I'll be trying out desert hunting this year and I'll also be saving up for a spotting scope. Vortex sells an tripod adapter that I might pick up. Although that rest doesn't look bad.

    Vortex diamondback 12x50 binos

I was thinking about picking up a pair these for scouting. I have the dbs 10x42 and like them a lot. What do you guys think? Is it worth it to keep the 10x42s or sell and get the 12x50s? Oh and any recommendations in tripods for these binos?

    Trail cam placement in SFWA

I know the SFWA opens Sept 1st for the deer season. She's this mean I can't place any cameras until then or can we home around just no hunting? I'll be going out there for a scouting trip first weekend of August from Santa Clarita and would like to place them there or around Volcan area.

    Learning the ropes

Thanks again for that. I will look up the old threads. As far as binos go I have a set that I love. Vortex diamondback 10x42. I was looking at getting a spotting scope and can't decide on a size. I was looking at the Vortex Razor HD 16-48x65.

Thanks I eat what I shoot. I've been toying along with caltopo a lot trying to e-scout. I'll get that app and mess around with it today. Any advice on types of spotting scope, magnification, objective lens size, low light capabilities? Next time I go down there I'd like to be more productive...

    Learning the ropes

Hey SCH I'm new here. I'm from LA COUNTY and purchased a D16 deer tag. I've been hunting for a few years (unsuccessfully might I add) solo, trying to learn as I go. I've been out scouting around Palomar two weeks ago and would like to try the Laguna area. I'm heading back down the Aug 4 to do...
