Friday late afternoon I was walking along the trail, I froze in my tracks and I noticed a group of 6-7 deer approximately 300 yards away. I slowly reach for my binos. There was a massive guy in the group. One round loaded into the chamber of my Savage 7mm Rem. Mag. I get to 104 yards and drop...
Came out to d16 from Santa Clarita last night for some deer and turkey. Saw plenty of turkey, around 20, and 2 small bucks. No luck on either one though. The days not over though so who knows...
The problem is the ignorant snowflakes and all the illegals, who somehow have voting rights, being protected here. California is slowly getting rid of conservatives and their views from office and heading toward their own little world where they can advance their socialist views. Haha good luck...
What about that idiot Cortez getting elected! No California but still.
This idiot newsome is going to screw us, talk about brown on steroids. Katie hill and Pelosi going to open up our borders and threaten our border patrol and police force. SMH
I wanted to buy a pair, opted for the Vulcan 15x56s instead.
It's all about affordability. Plus they came with the tripod mount and they are really clear, not crisp but clear lol.
Ok thanks, I couldn't find much about it and saw that there's trail that goes to a place called Eagle Rock. I figured it was open to the public, I guess just for non-hunting activities.
I just bought the vulture 15x56s that came with the adapter. That pro GT looks nice, however too expensive for me. I went with a sturdy aluminum tripod. I'll put it to work and beat it to death.
Thanks for your input SDhunt17. I think I'm going to definitely buy the vultures. That's a nice looking tripod. I hope it will be able to withstand some abuse.
Ok I'll looking at the vultures right now. I'll be trying my luck in different terrain types of San Diego county. I just need to study the deer before the opener to get an understanding of their movements, bedding, and eating habits. I might get the summit tripod and possibly pick up a window mount.
