    Yes there is actually a lot of water! There's three natural springs that are actually broken so I'm gunna fix those, and the neighboring property has guzzlers right on the property line. It borders a reservation and there's a guy that goes out and shoots coyotes cause his cows graze in the area!

    Oh believe me I'll be giving it more time!! ;D I did walk some trails and sat on top of a ridge and scanned. I saw some signs but not much that's why I'm thinking someone was poaching it. The land owner said just driving up the road he would see acouple bucks and alotta turkey's. Iv been waiting...

    Ya i have a savage axis right now, and I'm not the biggest fan anymore. Im with ya on the tikka i didn't like the way it felt when i shouldered it! Thats why I'm leaning towards the 700 cause its the most comfortable that iv shouldered thus far.

    I was thinking that, what about a .308? Isn't a .243 the smallest caliber you can hunt deer with? Does it have much knock down power for deer?

    Ya i have a savage access 223 right now and its ok, but id rather have a higher caliber. I was also thinking about building an ar but Im just not sure how id like it for varmint.

    Damn well Ill still be going up there and see what I can get! But no his only son died in a car wreck years ago. He's in his 70's but hes up there hunting almost everyday! I grew up hunting up there so i try to go up whenever I can.

    Best coyote riffle

    Hey guys, so I'm looking at buying a new coyote rifle and I was looking to get some of your guy's opinion's. I'll be at around the price range of 1,000 dollar's and I'm thinking 22-250 caliber but what would you recommend?

    Hey ya'll just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the site! I've been hunting for about 13 years now but started hunting in San Diego.
