CREEPY, hunting this past weekend walking up a ridgeline with a buddy, had our headlamps on at 445 in the morning, looked up and caught a pair of green glowing eyes looking at us about 20yds away. it sat there and stared at us as we talked at normal volume levels to see if this thing would spook...

well I believe it starts with us the hunters/conservationists. if no one does anything or sets it in motion nothing will happen. hell ill start the petition to get signatures, cant it be done on the state website?

I'm just saying at some point wether it be in 5 years or 20, the state has got to acknowledge that there is a dynamic issue in the population between predator and prey (cougars & deer). And one would hope that they would allow some degree of harvesting. And one would hope they would realize that...

Good news in Oregon, apparently lion sightings in Oregon close to human populations has pushed the state to allow hunting coug's with dogs again after it banned it years ago..... How long do you think it will take before California pulls its head out of its ass and allows taking of lions again...

I'm in Mateo at the moment be in SOI though in 2 weeks. They only gave out 225 G10 tags this year kind of sucks. The deer look healthy. So far I think only 5 or 6 deer have been taken on base all little guys.

yeah I got busted with the doe and buck for sure, just took my buddy up today on his archery tag, had a buck at 93 yards and he winded us and Dee dee'd out, also found 4 does, the deer are there and inwish my rifle season would start already.
