Took my buddy and son out to try and fill their tags overy the weekend in one of the open D Zones. We were able to get my buddy Deric 43 yards away from this buck. He made an awesome shot to harvest his first ever buck with a bow.
Ive been shooting the Grave Diggers For a bit and taken 6 animals with them. They are a hybrid mechanical with no rubber bands. They make monster holes and killer blood trails. I would not hesitate to put an arrow thru any animal Jus my 2 cents.
G Team, I'm gonna be there trying to help my buddies son get his cow. So we will hook up before and I can show you exactly where to go. Don't forget to check out the Jr camp at Mormon Lake AZ elk society and RMEF really support the kids.
Don't forget with Utah their hunting license is good for 1 calender year so if you purchase after the draw opens and apply when it opens the following year you will only need to purchase 1 license for every 2 years.
Bonj, just scout while you hunt. I have not found a bad unit in AZ to hunt. I drew a decent unit with ZERO points and I know the unit well so I'm super stoaked.
Sounds like you found a honey hole, I bowhunted them some years back and shot a small one. Definitely a tuff hunt with Alot of leather hitting the ground And sore eyes from all the glassing.
Bonj the north and east face slopes are so green. Friend of mine invited me out. I bow hunted hard for 2 days and my only opportunity was killed by a rifle hunter. Last day snuck up on this hog with a boomstick in its bed. I was in bow range too. Gonna be a good eater pig.
