IMO. The 45 degree angle is too much. 30 degrees is plenty enough to accomplish positive bullet seating without cutting more brass than what is necessary.

I almost bought turtle skins but I couldn't find any hard evidence or proof of someone getting bit with them on or even any quality real demonstrations showing them work. I'm not saying they don't. I certainly hope they do as they look to be much more comfortable than anything else out there...
Not so with Tikkas. All Tikkas are long action even in the short chamberings. The length of the bolt stop is the only difference, which can easily be swapped out and changed.
Ok, yes. I understand what you are saying. It depends on what action you go with. Sorry, I should have said that. If you go long action and WSM you get much more bullet options.
