I came up a bust on pheasant, we only saw one both days and a friend in my group bagged it. We kicked a lot of gigantic fields(I have the blisters to prove it!) and only jumped the one bird in the tiniest patch. There was a good 6 of us plus two dogs... Busted lots of quail and kicked a good 20...

Well, that was an amazing experience! I'm going back out on Wed(thanks to the draw) so we'll see how that goes...hopefully we didn't scare away the hundreds of ducks we couldn't get a shot at.

Man, that could come with the loss to your firearm rights for life here in CA. At best you'd likely be spending probation out of the field. Think twice before you cross that line, at least make sure there are no witnesses! ;) ;)

I'll be shooting Sutherland for the first time(for Turkey in November). I scored a spot in the draw this past Saturday at their turkey tune-up. This Saturday is coming up quickly...so excited!

I've shot at FFR, it's a wonderland when it's not raining...It was the most physically demanding duck hunt myself or my partner have ever come across when it was muddy. Great guys there and an experience I'll never forget none the less.

Our group drew #2 pick Saturday...nobody got #1. This will be my first time hunting Barrett, I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl. We got 19/23/26 OCT! ;D

I was out on Saturday. Rolled into the IV at roughly 8:30AM and still managed to get 2 mourning and 8 euro by lunch. Party of four with pretty much the same results all around. Not bad at all considering our timing.

So what does a banded dove mean? Never come across one, not sure hat to do if I did...

Haha! We've hunted(and limited each time) dove in white T's and khaki shorts for years...camo is overrated. Good shooting! ;D
