so when hunting in California, are you required to have that wooden rod in the magazine tube to limit your rounds to 2+1 in the chamber? I know you're limited to 3 rds only when hunting in California right? So can I just remove the rod and have 2 in the tube and 1 in the chamber? or does CA...

Hey guys. New to the forum from Downey area.. Grew up in Minnesota and Texas hunting deer and small game. Just recently started predator hunting which is incredibly fun!

haha that's awesome! But yeah, the GC300 should do you just fine. The volume is pretty dang loud. I haven't tested the "300 yard" range yet but I'm sure it'll work from quite a ways. Good luck to ya.
