I've went out last weekend and didn't see any deer. I'm only 3 years into hunting the late season A31 so I'm not sure how to do it. After rifle season I usually stop seeing deer. I hunt more near Wrightwood/Vincent gap area. Should I try lower elevations in the late season or does it matter?

Yeah if you buy AO you can hunt archery gear only in the Dzones around you and throughout the state. If you get a D15 tag you can also hunt D11 and D13, which is the general buck season. (Archery, Muzzleloader, rifle, etc) Good luck!!

I have that same bow and I use the blackout brand from bass pro. They are made by golden tip and have a good price. Half dozen for $39.99. Dozen is $60. They are cheap enough for target and nice enough for hunting in my opinion.

What do you guys think? I was set on a Uberti 45 Long Colt revolver (don't own a sidearm). Now I am thinking of buying the Savage whitetail pro 30-06 instead. Any thoughts?

Saw a total of 9 deer today hunting up in the Wrightwood area. 7 does and 2 bucks, 3x2 and 2x2. The two bucks were together with 4 does and I was able to get a shot off on the bigger buck. Honest I'm not sure what happened but my arrow flight was wobbly and not good. I put brand new fletchings...
