Yup one year it is! Btw while driving to hodges for a fishin day I saw both the wardens at the lake. After talking to them, they said they sent the citation to the court in January. So I really don't undetstand why there was no record shown when I went to court last month. ???

FYI. While scouting around Sutherland yesterday, my buddy and I saw a tom with NO beard. Anyone ever seen a tom like that before? He wasnt in our area but it doesnt matter because beardless=unshootable

In the field hunting report at Sutherland: Quite a bit of gobblin at sun up till about 730-745. Has died down since. Hoping the gobblers get lonely here soon! Btw. All kinds of deer around here. Doesnt seem like the drought has affected them as much as the birds. 8)

Agreed. Thats not good news, especially for those of us lucky enough to get drawn. It's still definitely worth a shot though! Heck, maybe I should bring my fishin pole and try my luck there. ;)

Only one that I saw and yes definitely a highly traveled trail. Plenty of tracks, but only in a small area. How did day one of the Jr Hunt go?
