Just went dove hunting in the valley and my new (used) gun has only one working barrel - made for some close calls but no meat. Took it to the gunsmith to get the firing pin adjusted. Did some great clay and target practice though - great day to be out, today!

I am dying to try rabbit too... but instead of worrying how they cook up, I heard you have to be careful when butchering them - that you have to clean them with gloves on due to rabbit fever? We have one bunny who habitually frequents our backyard and comes out into the open b/c the kids feed...
