I read somewhere that CA is an honor system for Turkeys.... So you do not have to tag or report your harvest of Turkeys and it only falls under the upland game license?
I have not been coyote hunting but I am wanting to get into it but I need to get a rifle for that, but my question is;
What do you do with the yote? DO you eat it, skin it, just leave it for the scavenger or what? LOL Sounds sorta strange that it would be eaten.
I did happen to come across the Game Warden portion of CP and scanned through it all. A lot of people have been saying that hunting is good on the base. The question that remains with me is which Tags will work on the base. I seen that in the 2013 Cal Big Game Hunting magazine that D15 tags are...
For area D-16 it looks like the A-22 zone takes up the majority of that area. I am not sure what it means. Can you hunt archery with a general D-16 tag or do you need to hunt only firearms with this tag?
I understand that an archery only means archery only but you can hunt during both season...
Besides the hunting club is there anywhere else to get information about hunting on base there? It is a bit of a drive for me so I would rather look online or call. Can you set trail cams on base there?
OK so if this is an open zone (not needing to apply for a drawing) How does it work to buy a license since this will be my first hunt here in Cali? I see you have to buy a general hunting license for $45.. What does and does not come on that cause I see tags for deer, bear and whatever else at a...
Well I went out and got a bunch of INFO from the DFW and got both the map and atlas for CNF so not it is all about planning and scouting. The lady at DFW said that zones D-16 and D-12 were drawing only? It sounds like D-19 is the closest zone that is one to buy a tag for???
I did not know about anything on Ruffin road but I will head up there.
The closest Ranger station from from I am assuming is in Alpine is that correct?
I am not much of a competition shooter for 3D events. I have never done all that.
Hey all I am looking to hook up with someone to hunt/scout with. I have plenty of cam cameras (5) and plenty of opportunity. I am recovering from a broken leg and hope to get out soon to start looking. If anyone is willing to help me out and hunt with me I would be Happy Happy Happy... I am in...
I am new to how things work here in Cali so I am confused. Do you have to apply for a basic tag? When does this process begin if that is the case. I am hoping to hunt this fall but I do not know the ins and outs of how it works.
