What's in your hunting pack?
from previous backpacking/hiking exp bringing that reserve container w/ something like Gatorade is a nice change up. especially If you're walking in 4+ miles. either if you run out of water or you need a pick me up, that stuff does well with the sugar.- Macsteve

this makes sense compared to the other stories. A javelina likely would get up and RUN and not stop. Rabbits are prey, they just seek the closest hidey hole. -

yeah you guys win. those Rattler brand are like 180ish if I remember searching right. Regardless, I've been a little weary in my past 2 endeavors as it was clear I would barely be able to see a snake if one was about and was a little freaky. these will arrive before my next try- Macsteve

killer haul, that is really cool. FYI was keeping a lookout while rabbit hunting last weekend @ Ortega and didn't see any Euros in the 2 hours we were hunting around rabbits. not to say they aren't there of course, but I didn't notice any that stood immediately out.- Macsteve

only reason I'm so persistant on the dirtbike is because my truck is 2wd (or 1wd as I like to say because it has a open differential ) and getting stuck out in the middle of the dessert is not on my to do :)- Macsteve
