    Question about lead and steel shot

    This will be the last year to use lead shot, for dove, in California. I use 7 shot in steel because it is mostly the only size I can find and, if I do my part the dove can't seem to tell the difference.

    X 2 on the C.R.I.T. permit. I hunted there for 20 + years, and the permit is good for the calendar year. You won't need a Az. license with the Res. permit on the Az. side. Good luck

    Hello SHC

    The first time I shot two going away dove with it I wouldn't have know I got them if it wasn't for my buddy telling me I hit both. With Pyrodex now it isn't quite as bad, you just look under the cloud.
