D16 opening day freezer trophy
Its 100% trophy in my books I have hunted D16 for 6 years and gotta nada. Althought I have lots of kids sports so its not like I give a 100% either. I am happy I just get out... But getting closer --- Saw 4 does and 1 buck this weekend. Buck way off tried to get closer but spooked...- socalcowboy

First Time Bacon - Jowl Meat
Make sure you keep Jowl meat and make bacon out of it - taste good. First time doing it. Brine in salt, brown sugar, regular sugar for 3 days Used barrel smoker for 4 hours - hickory and apple chips.. first time deer hunter
I remember my first deer at 17 and did it by myself - I was so worried about getting dirty I would pick the deer up and and move it to a clean spot every time it stated getting messy. By the time I was done field dressing it there was blood and guts spread around a circle 50 feet in diameter...- socalcowboy
