    Aligator hunting in TX

I am thinking about goin on a gator hunt in TX next year. My father just moved to N Huston 6 months ago and its only a 2 hour drive from his place to the gulf. I found some guided hunts and such around there but I was wondering if anyone else has had some experience gator hunting on the gulf or...

    River Hunting

Great info! I have gone to the DFW offices and talked to multiple people and there are no "No Hunting" regulations or area within that spot and it is out of the city limits so I think you are correct. They probably just don't like us there as it's a little more difficult to regulate.

Well first is where we put in and take our kayaks out. But we changed spots. They haven't given us any real reason why, they just horas us. Another reason they said that they questioned us is because there are some people that live on the river, however we respect the "distance from a dwelling"...

    glassing in wooded areas

Keep in mind that one will rarely see a whole deer, Become familiar with what an ear or tail or piece of an antler sticking out looks like! The big bucks are big for a reason! We've just got to find an edge and that's what glasses help with, gettin that edge!

    River Hunting

Because the migration is so bad up here in the Central Valley right now, I'm gonna hit the local river and hunt it off my kayak tomorrow morning. Who knows maybe rip a few lips while I'm at it. What I want to discuss is that not many people realize that hunting off of the river, as long as the...

    Turkey success anyone?

They may be all over where y'all are at but up here they are pretty scarce this year. I have only heard of two people getting Turkeys up here in the Fresno Area. Don't worry Longbowhunter2 I wasn't asking specific spots. I'm a seasoned hunter and know better than that!

    Turkey success anyone?

I went out 2 times with no success. I had a big buck walk in, after season of course, to my turkey blind about 20 yards from me. I always see turkey during deer season and deer during turkey season!
