Same reason you got a 2014 duck stamp this season: less than 100% effort in communication on the part of those responsible for providing front line information to us, the consumers of their product.

Makes zero sense, considering d16 was not ultimately deemed a premium tag.

Looks like A22s are still up for grabs. I'm going to try for a D9 and pick up a bear tag along with it. I may not have got the GSGS bear hunt at the bbq, but I can make my own... :P

Leftover premium deer tags will be available on DFW license sales website on July 2nd at 8am. If you're like me and were only blessed with preference points for the initial draw, this is a great opportunity to get into some potential good ungulate country away from home. Cheers and good luck!

Plan on getting out in a couple weeks for rabbit. Found 1500 rounds of 22lr and just picked up a new 10/22 that needs breaking in. :)
