Bowhunter is right..If your stationed on Pendalton go to the Game Wardens office on base and ask about restritions and where to hunt. The hunting there is good with limited pressure. there are lots of restrictions and they change weekly due to training work ups and range usage.

Couldn't make it to the duck opener after I was pulled # 80 at Wister because of kids sports. But I now have a chance to hunt quail on a private ranch in Cuyama. I guess it may make up for it. Leaving tonight.

Ghost is right (I know nothing of bows but a lot about rifles) when setting up a precision rifle or hunting rifle with a multi powered scope there are too many variables to share the weapon and expect the same results for each shooter. For big game hunting 1.5 MOA in the general kill zone area...
