I just got back from the IV I was doing some dove hunting then stayed overnight at Wister to hit the fields to possibly play clean up on any left over released phesants. While I was there I saw hundreds of snow geese flying back and forth over the refuge. Just an FYI. Stump

Oh that's where I drive to a lot of my hunting. Your in a great spot start looking around and making friends . Lots of boar up in that area as well as upland birds and Tule elk. Get maps of Los Padres and start driving around those forest roads great place.

That makes me feel a little better. I bumped a covey of about 50 birds I thought I'd be able to flush them in front of me into a field but instead they flushed and flew over me into property I can't hunt. It was a bummer.

I'm in for tbe whole season at Wister and part of SJ..... Just not getting pulled so far except for opener but couldn't go.
