Nice trip. We woke up on bluefin. I managed to hook quite a few. Broke off a fish of a lifetime because of the noobs fishing straight spectra and not following their lines. But then landed my personal best, about 60 lbs.

This is an exciting project. I'll be watching with interest.

I applied for a premium and an elk tag (for the first time), but didn't draw either. Now I have 3 deer pnts, 1 elk point, and a D16. seems like most people here didn't have much luck.

Taft-I ask only for clarification of my reading of the rules...I don't think it's technically impossible, just extremely improbable. In the unlikely event his second choice didn't sell out in the draw he might get it. But practically speaking, x9a and x9b always sell out in the draw.
