    Garmin Oregon 450

Haha so for the sake of my benefit, if I already own handheld 2-ways, cost wise... I'd be best off with just a normal gps and my handhelds.

Az elk and antelope results are online

Didn't know you were a guide AZbow hunter, didn't mean to sound over confident. I live right next to Sunset Crater on the East side of the mountains. Don't know where you live but if you're up in N. Arizona for archery deer season, we should meet up!

Anywhere other than Salton Sea an Option?

So I've only hunted the Salton Sea in California for waterfowl, mainly because some of my hunting buddies say anywhere else is hardly worth the drive. I'm in San Diego, anywhere near there good? I've heard San Jacinto? Any private clubs? or Mexico? I'm just looking to have other options than...

    ? Archery deer/bear hunting question

Holy Santa, is DFG really that strict that you can't have a rifle with you even camping in the woods for archery season? Wouldn't it make sense even as personal protection to be allowed to have it at camp?

There are usually leftover tags in certain units for Javelina and Archery Deer is OTC in Arizona too. So the year long out of state license doesn't seem like such a waste if you get drawn. PM me as I'll be moving back to San Diego in about a month but will be hunting in Arizona every chance I...
