when i hunt azusa canyon during rifle season i wear an orange hat...alot of bush shooters up there...and yes i also have been glassed thru a rifle scope more than once...a bit scary....

also that is a very cool pic of your sons and you....keepin the hunting drive alive...!!!

i use the soap and the spray also...i think it helps ..but like said before..by the end of the day..you gotta play the wind...because hunting in 90 degree days.. nothing is gonna help ya like the wind after sweating a bit...

just got back from the morning hunt...hunted a spot that i have had luck at before.....saw 2 does and what i think was a spike or a very small forky...sorta to far for a shot tho.....lots of bugs...including TICKS...man i hate those things...i must of picked about 15 or so off of me...its...

update on the Rt 39 azusa...it is open but the gmr and the road that connects it to the east fork is still closed till further notice..was told this by the forestry...in other news jumped a small forky as i was scouting out a different spot off the 39...of course i did not have my bow with...

just got news...the 39 has been reopened...the gmr is closed still\

looks like i will be heading up the 2 saturday...was told the south side of the 2 is open near upper big tujunga and chilao....anyone else headin up there...i gonna do some scouting/hunting there..?
