yea ...i hunt asuza canyon and angeles forest off the 2 past Mount Wilson....my honey hole burned up in the big fire...and that area is still closed....

man...california deer hunting is alot different than whitetail hunting in my mind....alot harder ...steep terrain...no telephone pole trees for yr stand...less deer...and way hotter....back east i sit in pretty much a tree fort...flat terrain...deer everywhere....

just wondering if anyone else is hunting the Angeles forest besides me...if so ..any luck yet ...have you seen anything ..???

i mostly hunt solo...but i make sure someone knows where i am going and when to be expected back...i also like to hunt with some buddies but they are gettin older and can not make it to some of the places i like to go...so sometimes i have to settle with an ok place that they can make it to...
