Congrats on an awesome hog and a great story

I got an email about this today. Should make the 91 fun all weekend. Luckily I don't have to head in to work until Monday.

We starting seeing baby rattlers out on our hikes about a month ago. This is probably going to be a bad year as far as snakes go. Lots of them around.

Not sure about that one but my buddy said some of the guys stationed there now have gotten some pretty nice elk

Welcome. Like already mentioned, get the atlas. There is plenty of area where hunting is legal up there. I know on the corona/Elsinore side there is some decent dove and quail hunting. I'll be headed up to scout for next season over the next few months. But I have not hunted the area yet.

Anyone had any experience hunting in Alaska as out of state? My buddy is being transferred to Kodiak in a couple months. Just curious what peoples experience is with non residents licensing and if anyone had been able to get tags over the counter. Thanks
