Exactly my thought also. It seems to mesh pretty well. I'm going to try some other designs also and see what seems to work best. If anyone has a Tikka and shoots alot let me know.

I have a tikka t3x and I really want an arca swiss mount on the rifle but I don't want to drill holes in my factory stock. I decided to make a mount for it and I'm wondering if anyone else would be interested in one also. Currently, I'm still perfecting the design but it would use the accessory...
What about moving it to something like this where light isn't really a factor. Or will the temp going up and down effect it.

What's the thought on stashing water? I'm assuming a ton of people do it but what is the legality of it? What are you guys using for your jugs? I'd assume everyone puts it into another container and not just use the jugs of water you can get at the store.

Yea base weight with rifle and optics is 34lb so not too bad but I think the water jug is the way to go. I think this might be the way to go
What do you use to store the water in? Can I just get a gallon jug from the store and stick it out there or will it start to grow algae?
Im looking for someone to help haul some gear out to CNF in deer season to allow for a few 3-4 day hunts. Most of the weight is due to water. Im based in SD and am not opposed to sharing the hunt with someone but has to be the right person. Im new to hunting so expect some dumb questions along...
