Congrats on a great hunt, awesome adventure and a beautiful buck. That's a great write up with pictures that an old guy who can't physically hunt like that anymore really enjoys and brings back a lot of wonderful memories
Our group limited by 8am in the Yuma area. Interesting there were equal numbers of whitewings and mourning dove, yet 90% of all the doves harvested were big and mature . Makes me question the reports of a large hatch ?
I remember Chadd talking about the newly worked areas having peninsula blinds. I took that to mean an above ground walkway off the main dike ending a distance into the pond where a person could set up and hunt . Maybe I misunderstood. Planning a trip down there soon to see for myself.
