    I use Moultrie. You can get a W35 for about $45 bucks or so with free shipping from ebay. They have never let me down. Take good pics and do not break the bank. There are far better ones out there but cost way more ($200 or more) plus you have to worry about getting it stolen on public land...

    You can catch marlin and sailfish the same way. Basically troll a mop head and their bill becomes tangled in it when they come and swap at it thinking it is food. Not very sportsman like but most do it as catch and release. Very common in other countries.

    Depends on area, the more remote, the longer I let them stew. In off season, about every 6-8 weeks. June-Aug I will check every 2 weeks minimum unless there are no deer and then it gets taken down or moved. All depends on your area and how well you know it and the animals..

    Good boots, good glass and a good tripod. Best you can afford. 12 power on up goes on the tripod. Spend lots of time glassing. Do more of that than walking to see animals. My .02 I use Crispi Boots, Vanguard tripods and Higher end Vortex optics. If budget allowed I would have some Swaros...

    Words of wisdom right there..! That is a golden nugget to all the new hunters on here. One thing I know, if you are routinely successful here in SoCal (D16 and otherwise) you can take that same skill set and be successful ANYWHERE. Proven time and time again...

    Ordered the Muley Flag shirt just now. Maybe add a loden green flat bill (Or similar) type hat (Non trucker) for us guys with big domes. nobody seems to be making a good hat in that type with that color, And with short hair trucker hats make me look like a chia-pet..!!! No bueno..
