Ladders work great but you really need to have the gun stable a solid lead sled helps a ton. I will shoot 4 at a ladder test just in case I pull one. Also you need to really make sure you keep your barrel cool that will throw the whole thing off.

7mm and creedmore are definitely not redundant you can put a 175g bullet through a 7mm. 6.5cm is a great deer cartridge out to 400yds IMO. Plus if you get a 7mm I wont call you gay.
