    So cal archery shops

another big ditto on the Bow-n-Arrow shop. I had a Mathews Q2, that I had purchased in 2001 from Performance Archery. The Bow-n-Arrow shop is much closer to my house, so I went there. Bruce's team always tuned and serviced my Mathews, even tho they were a BowTech dealer. I never had any...

    30-06 for everything???!

I had a Ruger M77 30.06 as my first rifle for deer & elk. I used it for 20 years. It had a really stiff trigger, I had a high flinch-factor and could almost get a 7" group at 100 yards, with the occasional flyer. On a recommendation from a buddy, I bought a Browning A-Bolt .300WIN MAG with...

Air Rifles - Do they loose power over the years ?

Thanks for that info. I will dig around and see if I can find the replacement O-Rings and Springs. If I can't, I'll put it aside for the grandkids to plink cans with. I'd like to get something that shoots hard enough to kill vermin around my pad. Too many around here. Thank you Much!!!!!!!!!

Air Rifles - Do they loose power over the years ?

I'm wondering if air rifles loose power over the years ? About 20 years ago ;) I purchased a Winchester 800fps .177 air rifle, break-barrel, single-shot, $100 at WallyMart. I have been very inconsistent shooting it over the years, so it's tough to tell for sure if it has lost power . It...

    MagView Experience

After watching YouTube vids and reading a few threads, I purchased the MagView system for my Meopta S2 Spotting Scope. I haven't had a chance to try it out in the field of course and my neighbors might get weird ;) but just curious to hear if anyone else has it and if you have any tips. Thanks!

Oh yeah, it can get nasty quick. I was on a 3-day over Memorial and it was rough, 3-5' seas, nasty wind 15+mph, chop from all directions, relentless and rough rough rough. Lungpopper - Nice fish btw for the boy! Well done Pop!!! ;)

    Well boys

My buddy moved up to Post Falls / CDA Idaho early 2002-ish with Buck Knives, when it was very affordable to buy & build a nice house. Within 5+ years, Idaho residence were ticked-off at the escalation of real estate pricing, and it's still climbing.... just don't drive a rig there with CA...

    24 billion missing

Pure Socialism. With SDGE, they were going to hit us based on our income, which would nail me ~$125 a MONTH !!!!. It was challenged and dropped to ~$25, then ~$5. I am still diametrically opposed to this FEE/TAX, just to pay for others electrical bill's, (low Income/illegals). I already...
